Chic and Stylish Artistic Jewelry at Occasions!

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

At Occasions! we are proud to represent a fabulous group of jewelry artists, whose designs are not only considered wearable art, but are fashionable and unique. The fantastic collections are nothing short of exceptional–the timelessness and chicness of the jewelry collections are sure to spark conversation and have everyone asking, “where did you get that?

Tana Acton whose jewelry is inspired by dance, Laurette O’Neil who uses fossilized walrus tusk whose materials are inspired from her stay in Alaska, and Frederic Duclos who once designed for Tiffany’s, are a few of the exceptional designers we are thrilled to have on display in our gallery.

For some people buying artistry jewelry makes you think of beaded necklaces, high prices and jewelry that isn’t always in-style. Well let me put those myths to rest–what buying artistry jewelry does mean, is that you not only will have a unique piece, but you don’t have to pay a fortune for something that will last you a life-time.

So if you are truly looking or longing for a unique piece of jewelry, stop in and see for yourself, or checkout out our website, www.occasionsofscottsdale.com for our latest designs and collections.

Two fun events this week:

The Green ArtWalk this Thursday will feature found-object work by several artists. Guest artist Marcia Sednek will present her mini metal creations. And we will also be featuring the whimsical wall sculptures of recently deceased Marion Skottmyhre as well as the immensely popular fun jewelry of Kim Mason.

And our Grand Opening is this Friday!
Time: 6pm-9p

Enjoy delicious homemade desserts by Cathy’s Rum Cakes Catering while you explore through our new location! And toast us with champagne.

You will be shopping with a purpose that evening; part of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to Breasthetics Institute of America, a non-profit that provides restorative procedures for breast cancer survivors.
