Jasper Conran’s Kilim Giftware is Available at Occasions!

August 26th, 2011 by rebecca

Jasper Conran’s Kilim Giftware Collection from Wedgwood has become the most sought after pattern for this Fall–the five color collection was inspired by ancient Kilim rugs, which Conran has credited to seeing in many of the grand homes he has visited in London. The bold, rich colors are indicative of this Fall’s color trends, while the ‘frayed’, edgy, textural appearance counterbalances your pre-notion of a typical fine china set–to put it bluntly, this is not your grandmother’s china set!

Not only has this stylish and chic giftware collection been featured on Vogue.com as one of the ‘Need it Now’ items, it has been featured in ELLE Decor and New York Spaces. So get your giftware set today at Occasions! before they are gone.

For more information or to order your Jasper Conran Collection, contact us at service@occasionsofscottsdale.com or by phone at (480) 423-0506 or (800) 482-2532.

Marcia Sednek is Taking her Dresses on the Road to Chicago!

August 23rd, 2011 by rebecca

We are so proud that our very own Marcia Sednek has been invited to Chicago to display her ‘Mixed Media Couture’ at The Art Center Highland Park. We are proud that we and our clients have helped nourish her continued evolvement as an innovative and accomplished artist and that she, in turn, is “giving back” to other emerging artists through her work with the non-profit, Off Center Community Center Arts Project in Albuquerque.

Once again we are delighted that Marcia and her found object fashions have found a home at Occasions! and we wish her the best on her travels to the ‘windy city’ August 26-27th, 2011, for her Trunk Show and ‘Mixed Media Couture’ workshop, where the lucky guests will be designing their own found object fashions!
